Hello! I’m Georgia, and I live in Berkshire, UK. I love to work with mixed media, especially collage, playing around with little elements to make sure they fit in the right space. I’m drawn to layering textures, colours and monoprinting to create my work, enhancing all the different worlds I get to create. I also love to go location drawing, to help find real life elements to enhance scenes.

Last year, I was lucky enough to be shortlisted for The Batsford Book Prize and The MacMillan Illustration Prize. I couldn’t have done this without my MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. To be able to totally immerse myself in the wonderful world of children’s books has been a privilege I hope to live in for a very long time.

When I’m not sat with a pencil in hand, you can usually find me wanting to travel to somewhere I can swim in the sea, or sometimes on a very long walk. Mostly, you’ll find me sat with two cats who constantly tell me they want dinner, even at 11am.
